Calcvita uses three categories of cookies:

• Essential: required for the site to operate (e.g., remembering your language).
• Analytics (Google Analytics 4): measures visits and how the calculators are used, without sending the values you enter. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland these cookies are only set if you consent (analytics_storage=granted); without consent, Google only receives cookieless signals with no identifiers. In other regions they are enabled by default.
• Advertising (Google AdSense): shows the ads that fund the site. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, advertising cookies and ad personalisation require your consent; without it, only non-personalised or limited ads may be shown. In other regions they are enabled by default.

3. Managing consent

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, a consent message managed by Google (its consent management platform, compatible with the IAB TCF framework) appears on your first visit so you can accept, reject or customise optional cookies. Your choice is translated into the Consent Mode v2 signals (ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization).

That platform stores your choice in a cookie in your browser, and you can change it at any time.
